Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, July 22 at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker for Cynthia L. Adelman, age 53, who passed away Monday at her home. Father Michael Kellogg officiated and burial was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Becker. Visitation was Thursday and one hour prior services Friday all were at the church in Becker. Parish prayers were Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker.
Cynthia was born Oct. 1, 1962 in Litchfield to William & Darlene (Rohrbeck) Whitcomb. She married Timothy Adelman on Sept. 4, 1982 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Minden Township. Cindy worked as a teller and bookkeeper at Sherburne State Bank in Becker for 31 years. She was a member of Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Cindy was a giving person who was caring, tough and competitive. She loved dogs and horses, and all animals. Cindy loved her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Tim of Becker; sons, Joseph (Ashley) of Becker, Jeremiah (Megan) of Minneapolis and James (Emily) of Becker; father, William Whitcomb of Becker; siblings, Veronica (Tom) Finders of Baudette, David Whitcomb of Becker and Mark (Kelly) Whitcomb of Sandstone; and grandchildren, Hallie, Liam, Myla, Emma, Landon, Gavin and Jack. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene; daughter, Jessica; sister-in-law, Barb Whitcomb; niece, Katherine Foss; and grandparents.
