Funeral Services will be 11a.m. Wed, June 22, at South Santiago Lutheran Church, Clear Lake for Clinton “Clint” C. Cox, age 90, who passed away Friday at Monticello Care Center in Monticello. Rev. Mike Pancoast will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker and one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the church.
Clint was born May 11, 1926 in Becker to John & Louise (Ellefson) Cox. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Clint married LoRayne Sjolander in 1951 in St. Cloud.
LoRayne passed away in 1994. He married Evelyn Stodola in 1996 in Becker. Clint worked as an accountant for Northwest Airlines for many years. He was a member of South Santiago Lutheran Church where he was a former church treasurer. Clint did a lot of volunteer work for Lange Home and the Sherburne County Courthouse. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering, and working around the house. Clint was a hardworking, kind, generous, easy going man with a good sense of humor.
Clint is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Becker; daughters, Cynthia Avant of Clear Lake and Patricia Hoehle of Little Falls; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cox of Clear Lake; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Clint was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, LoRayne; sons, Gregory and Larry; one sister and four brothers.
