Charles John "Chuck" Lundeen

Funeral services for Charles John "Chuck" Lundeen of Aldrich and formerly of Becker, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8 at the Verndale Alliance Church in Verndale, Pastor Tony Stanley presided.  Chuck passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 54 Friday, July 1.
 
Charles was born to Marvin Dean and Marilynn (Taylor) Lundeen on October 16, 1961 in Minneapolis, MN. After completing high school Chuck continued his education in diesel mechanics at Staples Technical College, worked as a mechanic,  then built a successful business as a commercial manure applicator.   Chuck met Roxanne Harshman in elementary school and they were united in marriage on January 15, 1983 in Becker, MN. They made their home in Aldrich where they raised their family.
 
Chuck used his spare time pursuing his avid interest in racing, including vintage & formula snowmobile racing, along with Wissota street stock races. Family and friends thought of him as a caring, creative and hardworking man.
 
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Marilynn;  grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
 
Surviving Chuck are his loving wife Roxanne of Aldrich; children Justin (Skyla Theisen) Lundeen of Mekinock, ND and Abigail (Daniel) Miller of Grand Forks, ND; sisters Cindy (Randy) Olson of Jordan and Cheri (Warren) Sakry of Clear Lake; nieces & nephews, along with a host of friends.
 
Honorary pallbearers were Wally Anderson, Dave Laavig, Armand Westland and Jim Waldahl.
 
Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Illiff, Randy Blomgren, Guy Blaske, Steph Winterfeldt, Joel Gilyard and Randy Grondahl.
