In last week’s Becker city council story, the writer wrote, “Mayor Lefty Kleis asking for an apology from the public for his inexcusable behavior at last month’s meeting.”

 

The writer meant to say the mayor was apologizing to the public not asking for an apology from the public.

 

The Citizen and staff apologize for the error.
