Great River Faith in Actions’ 18th Annual Rake the Town event had another successful proceeding.
GRFIA staff were busy coordinating yard raking projects for over 35 yards in the area utilizing over 250 volunteers! The senior citizens or disabled people the volunteers helped have been so grateful to get this chore done, since they can no longer do it alone. It’s been fun for the homeowners to have a group come to their home, serve and safely visit with them. This makes the homeowner feel loved by their community!
Some of the groups that volunteered this year were Riverside Church, Sherburne State Bank, Church of St. Luke Clearwater, Becker E-Free Church, Rejoice Lutheran Clearwater, Faith Lutheran Church Becker, 4-H Refuge Rangers, and many more!
