Effective July 1, Insurance Specialists Team (IST) in Big Lake, joined North Risk Partners, one of the largest independent insurance brokers and risk advisory firms in the Midwest.

Insurance Specialists Team was founded in 2003 by Julie Evans. Julie has been an active member of the Big Lake and surrounding communities, taking part in the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce, Metro North Chamber of Commerce, and Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce.

With this new partnership, five Insurance Specialist Team members have joined the North Risk Team including Julie. 

“This partnership is exciting for so many reasons,” Evans says. “I’m looking forward to the extensive network North Risk provides in terms of carriers and support within the organization.”

 North Risk Partners – Insurance Specialists Team clients now have access to North Risk’s wide array of capabilities and insurance companies in the areas of commercial insurance, employee benefits, and personal insurance. Additionally, clients who are employers will now have access to the firm’s value-added services in the areas of human resources, health and safety and more.
