During the recent Big Lake Town Board meeting, Supervisor Dean Brenteson reported that the road committee is looking to add some overweight projects to the township’s original roadwork bid. This extra work will include about 1.5 miles in additional work this year, and the construction should be completed sometime in July. 

Sheriff’s Report

Sgt. Barett gave the monthly report for the Sheriff’s Department. Calls for service were slightly up from last year. Barett said the only two notable calls were two stop arm violations, both in the same area. Both drivers were identified. Barett says he will look into possibly providing more patrol in the area, but the buses are equipped with excellent technology these days to capture videos.

In Other Business, the Board:
