When frigid weather forced the postponement of the annual Christmas celebration at the Farm Friends Barn celebration last weekend, volunteers had to quickly pivot and find a new date for the popular event.
After careful consideration and intense negotiations with the North Pole, an opening was found in Santa and Mrs. Claus’ schedule and now the big event will happen on December 22 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Once again, bonfires, refreshments, and cookies will be served and the barn will be open to display their awesome Christmas decorations.
The ever-popular horse drawn Wagon Rides by RJ Stables will also be featured, which is sure to delight the entire family.
Pictures with Santa and his wife are always a big hit at the event, which is likely the last chance for locals to see Jolly Old St. Nick before he is busy circling the globe with his team of reindeer just days later.
The event is free of charge and is sponsored by Farm Friends Barn, Arnold’s Equipment, Structural Buildings, Nutrien and B&J Evergreen.
