Joey Graziadei is taking Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, and Rachel Nance to fantasy suites next week after Maria Georgas was sent home during Monday’s rose ceremony.
On Monday’s show of The Bachelor, Graziadei visited the final four bachelorettes’ hometowns in an effort to absorb the family culture of each contestant as the series winds down to just a few episodes left.
Georgas, 29, had Joey come home to her Niagara Falls home to meet her family which included her Greek/Italian father who — with his unbuttoned shirt and black wavy hair — warned Joey in a message to the audience, ““If she gets hurt, it would be a problem for Joey.”
Anderson, 25, took Joey to her hometown, New Orleans and introduced him to her family including her father, who many are speculating should be on a future Golden Bachelor series because of his good looks. Joey had some serious conversations with Kelsey’s brother, Matthew, sister, Taylor, and father, Mark regarding his intentions with Kelsey.
Nance, 27, a native Hawaiian, had Joey come to her family home to meet her big, tight-knit family. Hawaii just happens to be where Joey was living and working before joining the show and moving back to his native Pennsylvania.
Finally, Joey came to Minnesota to visit with Daisy’s family on their property in Becker. Daisy, 25, showed Joey the Christmas Tree farm where she grew up, called B&J Evergreen Farm. There, they walked amongst the trees, drank hot chocolate, and made wishes on the farm’s Wishing Tree. After Joey’s conversations with Daisy’s family members and her one-on-one discussions with her mom and dad, Daisy finally confessed her feelings for Joey just before he departed.
Returning to the show’s studios, the four girls lined up to hopefully receive a rose from their dream man and move into the final three. Just as Joey prepared to hand out the first rose, Maria interrupted him to ask if she could have a private moment with him.
Maria had not expressed her deep feelings for Joey while he visited her Canadian home and she told the crew and audience she felt she let the moment slip away.
Her interruption was just another hiccup in their relationship as the week earlier, she left the room she was in with the bachelor after saying she could no longer handle seeing him form connections with the other women. It appeared her dramatic exit was a hope for Joey to come chase her down and gush all over her. That didn’t happen and she tried to brush it all off, but Joey grew tired of it. At the end of Monday’s show, he decided to send home “fan favorite” Maria Georgas.
Let’s hope her dad will be able to understand.
As for Daisy, it’s on to the final three with the hope of capturing the heart of Joey Graziadei and see him get on one knee and pledge his heart to her in the season finale.
Go Daisy!
