The city of Clear Lake presented the Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf with a generous grant on Fri., Oct. 31 to help the food shelf keep up with the food assistance demand.

At the Clear Lake Lions meeting last night, they gave a generous donation to the Clearwater/Clear Lake foodshelf, as well. Clear Lake Lions are ongoing supporters of the foodshelf. 

Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf president Mary Abraham said she would like to acknowledge both donations they received this past week and shared these words: “These donations will secure the uncertainty of individuals in the future who are faced with food insecurity. I thank them all so very very much.”

“These donations are really appreciated and come at a time when funding is so desperately needed,” she said.
