Nov. 2, 2021, the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners made a negative declaration for an EIS (Envirnonmental Impact Survey) for Knife River “Bengtson Pit” located in Section 27 of Haven Township, Sherburne County. This is due to evidence found in an EAW (Environmental Assessment Worksheet) that the project would produce no substantial environmental impact. Sherburne County is required by law to publish this information as a press release.
