Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf hosted a fundraiser Sat., Oct. 18 at the Clearwater Legion to help with the new food shelf building. 

A silent and live auction were held.

The Clearwater Lions presented a check for $25,000 to the Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf at their fundraiser held Oct. 18, 2025 at Clearwater Legion.

Clearwater Legion Riders, Legion Auxiliary and 3 Of A Kind also presented checks to the food shelf, as well. Additional donations were given from individuals.  

“We want to thank everyone who attended our fundraiser and for all the donations that were presented to us,” said Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf president Mary Abraham.

The new Clearwater/Clear Lake Food Shelf building is located at 1135 Co. Rd. 75 in Clearwater, across the street from its original location. Hours of operation are Mondays 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday 9-11 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays 3 to 5 p.m. No appointment is needed. The food shelf can be reached at 320-558-2954.
