A Clearwater man has been charged with seven drug related felonies after two separate criminal complaints accuse him of making and selling methamphetamine and selling marijuana.
Information from the first complaint, dated Sept. 8, reports 35-year-old Bryan Jonathan Peterson is charged with two felony counts of first-degree drug sale and second-degree drug possession after a Wright Co. deputy discovered Peterson and another person inside a vehicle parked in a gravel pit marked as “private property/no trespassing.”
Approaching the vehicle, the deputy saw Peterson using a glass meth pipe. A search of the vehicle revealed 31.09 grams of meth, $805 in cash, two digital scales and numerous empty zip lock bags consistent with controlled substances packing materials.
Information from the second complaint, dated Oct. 16, reports Peterson is charged with five felony charges, including one count of manufacturing meth, two counts of drug sale and two counts of drug possession after a warrant discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia inside a home.
After receiving a search warrant, officers from the Wright Co. Sheriff’s Office and Buffalo Police Dept. approached a residence on Shubert Drive in Buffalo. When no one answered the door, they forced entry and discovered Peterson and two other people at the home.
A secondary kitchen in the lower level of the residence had “what appeared to be methamphetamine in various stages of refining in containers on the stove.” The area was covered with items consistent with the manufacture or refinement of meth, including glassware, strainers, liquids and coffee filters.
A living room in the lower level of the residence revealed seven vacuum sealed bags of marijuana, and in the upstairs master bedroom a grow operation with six marijuana plants was discovered. Cocaine was found in an office area.
Execution of the search warrant resulted in the recovery of more than 360 grams of meth, 567.9 grams of marijuana and 4.3 grams of cocaine.
