The  Becker Chamber of Commerce, along with the city, will be holding their winter celebration called Celebrate Becker, Sat., Feb. 25.

 

The festival will feature dozens of fun activities including kids having a great time bouncing in and on the numerous inflatables, while parents visit with the businesses who are sponsoring the inflatables

 

Wristbands for the inflatables are $5 per child, purchased at the Chamber booth in the Fieldhouse. If parents buy a kids shirt during the event for $10,  the kids will get the wristband free and can bounce all they want.

 

Otherwise, if they don’t buy the kids shirt, the wristband is still $5. Parents, however, must be present at all time*.

 

The inflatable sponsors include, Becker Spine, Sherburne State Bank, Becker Community Ed, Becker Baptist Church and Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate-All Seasons. Additional inflatable sponsorships are still available.

 

Don’t forget about these other family-fun activities before or during the day including the Celebrate Becker shirt selfie contest,  breakfast at the high school and a craft fair at community center.  Also, country skiing and make and/or view snow sculptures at the BCC (snow permitting) and the Fat Tire Bike Blitz at Pebble Creek Golf Course.

 

Also, a medallion hunt will start a week prior to the event day. Clues can be found on Wruck Excavating’s website (sponsor) and the Chamber Facebook page. One clue each day for seven days, unless found sooner.

 

Also, don’t forget to purchase door prize and grand prize tickets at the Chamber booth and visit the food vendors/concessions as well.
