Block Party is a blast!

The 15th Annual Big Lake Block Party was a booming success on a beautiful day last Saturday at McPete’s.

As part of the entertainment, Big Lake Schools Supt., Tim Truebenbach, Mayor Paul Knier, Principal Teresa Smock-Potterand others were subject to the ever-popular dunk tank. There was also a “Battle of the Banks” tug-of-war event and a car parade on Humboldt Drive.

Later on, Humboldt Station played music just outside McPete’s for the adults and families that hung around for the entire day. There were giveaways including bicycles for the kids.
