Veteran’s Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, veterans and their families gathered at Becker High School in the morning before school began for a breakfast provided by the school. Students and vets dined together and shared experiences. Legion members from Becker, Clearwater, Big Lake, Monticello, and Clear Lake were in attendance. The robotics team took charge of serving breakfast.
At 8:10 as the school day began, the school asked veterans to raise the flag outside of the school. After this, the vets went on a parade through the high school and down to the middle school for a presentation.
