TITLE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 2024-01

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY’S 

FEE SCHEDULE

The City Council of the City of Clearwater, Minnesota, Counties of Wright and Stearns, does hereby amend the City’s fee schedule ordinance for 2024 effective January 1, 2024.  Shown here is a summary of the changes.

  - Added a new fee for posting messages to the new 

  digital sign board.

- Removed charges for copies of public incident reports.

- Merged the Lions Pavilion cleaning fee into the 

  rental fees.

- Removed dormant refuse/recycle hauler annual fee.

- Increased water base fee to $15 per month.

- Increased sewer base fee to $35 per month.

- Increased water and sewer usage rates 5%.

- Increased refuse and recycling fees 5%.

- Increased refuse extra bag fee to $4 per bag.

- Increased storm sewer and mosquito fees 5%.

- Added language to development fees to clarify that 

  unpaid fees become a lien against the property.
