The Numbers Don’t Lie

Several months ago, my wife and I embarked on a “healthy living” campaign to change our eating and exercise habits for the better. It’s been 21 weeks this weekend since we signed up for Isagenix and we have never been happier with making that decision to get healthier for each other, for ourselves and our future.

Not only are we still part of the Isagenix family, but we’ve signed up a handful of others who are now experiencing the same “gift” of healthy living that we received that Valentine’s Day weekend.

With all the new energy and fitful quality of life, Terri and I are now running, biking, walking and weight training and plan to tackle a 5k at the end of this month.
Who knows beyond that.

Just as I reported several months ago about Terri’s biometrics results in which her blood pressure was down, her glucose was good, her cholesterol was perfect and she was off her medications, I recently went in to have my biometrics done and was amazed at what I heard from the PA.

After the technician took my blood pressure, my weight, my height, my temperature and a blood sample, I sat in the clinic room wondering what the results would be.
The first thing uttered from the PA when she entered the room was, “what kind of cholesterol medicine are you taking?”

When I shrugged and said, “none”, she just shook her head and said, “your numbers are amazing.”

My total cholesterol came in at 116 (less than 200 is great) with my HDL at 33 (less than 60 is great) and my LDL at 69 (<100). She told me my blood pressure was 100 over 66 (120/80 is great) and my triglycerides were at 68 (anything less than 150 is superb). She also said my glucose was at 92 (<100) and I lost six inches around my waist.

And my BMI was at 24.1 in which she said anything less than 30 at your age is great.

“You are the picture of health,” she said, which made me beam.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

I told her that my wife and I give all the credit to Isagenix, which has changed our lives for the better. The system, combined with minimal exercising, has transformed our lives.

She smiled and said she has heard of the system but didn’t know enough about it to comment.

I think she may have looked it up later that day as I overheard she and technician discussing the products later when I passed them in the lobby.

I told her that I’ve never felt so energized and upbeat in all my life and am actually looking forward to my later years when I know I’ll be feeling good physically, mentally and spiritually instead of watching my entire life spiral down hill as a result of aging.

As I said a few months ago when I reviewed and experienced the Isagenix system, I proclaimed “this stuff is the real deal.”

Oh, and one more thing, after recruiting these five or six people to become Isagenix customers over the last few months, I kept telling them that I felt 10 years younger.

My real birth age is almost 52, but I don’t feel it.

Following my biometrics this past week, my physiological (or health) age is gauged at 43. I’ll take that.

Isagenix, to me, is like the fountain of youth.

The numbers don’t lie.
