Seniors
All seniors are welcome to meet at the Coach House in Becker, Nov. 8, eat at 11:30.
 
*Dementia Basics 
 Thurs., Nov. 17, 7-8 p.m. at the Becker Public Library. This is an informal 45 minute presentation that includes information on dementia. Caregivers, families and general public are encouraged to attend. For adults, no registration required. Sponsored in part by the ACT on Alzheimer’s of Becker.
 
Young @ Heart Meeting
Thurs., Nov. 17, at Rejoice Lutheran Church.  Card playing, games and coffee time start at 10:30, followed by a luncheon at noon (suggested donation of $4.50). Following lunch, visitors can participate in grocery bingo (no cost to play). Young @ Heart is a time of food and fun for Clearwater-Clear Lake area 55+, open to members and non-members alike. Reservations are encouraged by Wednesday the week of the luncheon, by email at rejoice@rejoicelutheranchurch.org  or call 320-558-6851, and leave message.  
 
Wright County Parks Department Winter Programs
Now taking registration for our winter programs! Don't miss any of these opportunities to visit Robert Ney Memorial Park Reserve this winter. We have programs ranging from Dog Sledding to Buckthorn Hiking Sticks with a little bit of everything in between. Lutefish, Ham & Meatball Supper
Sat., Nov. 19, 3-7 p.m. at Glendorado Lutheran Church. $10 ham and meatballs, $15 for lutefisk, 6-12 years $7. Proceeds to go to Youth Missions.
 
Upcoming Events at Annandale Library
Barns of Minnesota, Mon., Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. at Annandale City Hall. Enjoy a rural journey around Barns of Minnesota with photographer Doug Ohman. This presentation is for adults, but all ages are welcome. The program will take place after Senior Dining. This event is sponsored by the Annandale Public Library and Annandale Area Friends of the Library.
 
Tech Tutors, Wed., Nov. 16, 6:30-7:45 p.m. Individuals having trouble understanding their laptop, tablets or other electronic devices can learn from Tech Tutor. If you would like to download books from the library website, or use eBooks MN but aren’t sure how to proceed, a Tech Tutor can help! Call ahead or drop in for individual assistance from a Great River Regional Library librarian.
 
International Game Day, Sat., Nov. 19, 9-11:30 a.m. All ages are welcome. Learn new and unusual games. Bring a board game or play one from the library. Door prizes are available for game players!

Upcoming Events at the Clearwater Library
Family Literacy Month Storytime, 11 a.m. Saturadays, Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26. Children ages 3-13, with their families, are invited to Family Literacy Storytime, including stories and crafts.
 
Wed., Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The Clearwater Area Friends of the Library will meet at the library. Teens and adults are invited to meet with the purpose of volunteering for and supporting library activities.
 
Memory Writers, Thurs., Nov. 10, 10 a.m. Adults are invited to join the Memory Writers. This is an informal writing group guided by Linda Marie who inspires individuals to record their life stories.
 
Book Club Readers, Wed., Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. The club to talk about this month’s read. This adult book club meets monthly. Call the library at 320-558-6001 for book title information.
 
ColorRama, Fri., Nov. 18, 3-6 p.m. Teens and adults are invited to ColorRama. Stop in to do some relaxing coloring. Coloring sheets and pencils will be provided.

Becker Community Thanksgiving Service
Annually our area churches gather together to thank God for His Faithfulness, His Goodness, and His Blessings. Becker Evangelical Free Church will be hosting the service this year at Becker High School in the Small Auditorium at 7 p.m. with a pie social to follow the service. You can bring a pie to share during the social time afterwards. At this service an offering will be received for the Becker Ministerial Association, these funds are used to assist people with gas cards and food vouchers.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner
All are invited to South Santiago Lutheran Church for Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 24. Dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. There is no charge, but a free will donation is always welcomed.
