Young skier Mirra Koubsky dominates the slopes

Mirra Koubsky, a talented young sixth grade skier from the Becker community, is making waves on the slopes as a standout member of the Powder Ridge D-Team. At just 12 years old, Mirra has already established herself as a force to be reckoned with in both slalom and giant slalom (GS) races.

Mirra’s passion for skiing started at a young age while skiing the slopes with her dad, Nathan and her dedication to the sport is evident in her performances this season. Competing in three races, she has managed to clinch the top spot in each event, showcasing not only her skill but also her determination to succeed.

The young skier’s ability in slalom and GS races has drawn attention not only from her peers but also from seasoned observers in the skiing community. Mirra’s technique and precision on the slopes have been praised by coaches earning her the respect of those around her.

Mirra’s success is not only a testament to her natural talent but also to the hard work and commitment she puts into developing her skills. Training with the Powder Ridge D-Team has played a crucial role in her development as a competitive skier. The team, known for its emphasis on skill development and sportsmanship, has provided Mirra with the ideal environment to flourish.

As Mirra looks ahead to the future, her ambitions are clear. She aims to continue pushing her limits, improving her skills, and representing the community. Her hopes are to race with a local high school co-op starting next year in seventh grade.
