The Becker Bulldog girls tennis team is playing in the Section 8AA tournament this weekend in Sartell.

 

Becker, seeded #3 in the south, beat #6-seeded Sauk Rapids by a score of 7-0 in themorning of the first round on Oct. 9. They followed that up with a win over #2 seeded Willmar later that same day by a score of 4-3.

 

Friday, Becker was slated to play the #1-seeded north team of Thief River Falls in the morning, with the winner of that match going on to play in the section championship later that evening against either the south’s #1-seeded team of St. Cloud Tech or the north’s #2-seeded Bemidji team.

 

Saturday, individual sections begins in Sartell with matches starting at 10 a.m.
