The Becker Bulldog girls swim and dive team hosted a meet with Little Falls Thursday and fell in defeat to the Flyers.

Alice Foote won the 100 freestyle (1:00.20) to lead the Flyers past Becker.
“Another tough loss for the girls,” said Head Coach Tina Tamm. “We are in mid-season and the girls continue to work hard to improve their personal best times. Even though the score shows a loss, the girls continue to improve and are looking ahead to the section meet.”
Foote also won the 100 backstroke (1:08.54) and was part of the first-place 200 medley relay team (2:06.27).
Becker’s first place finishers were: Andrea Molus in the 200 free and 500 free; Jalissa Johnson in the 100 breaststroke; Molus, Nicole Larrison, Macy Erson and Melody Swanson in the 400 free relay.
Becker’s second place finishers were: Macy Erson in the 200 IM and 100 free; Larrison i the 50 free and Emily Skelton in diving and 100 breaststroke.

Saturday, Becker hosts the Section 5A True Team State meet with diving starting at 9:30 a.m. and swimming at 1 p.m. Then, the team has an away meet Tuesday at Ogilvie High School.
