Seven Becker Bulldog student/athletes were scheduled to gather Wednesday morning to officially sign letters of intent to attend colleges around the region and continue their athletic activities.
Two of the student/athletes were unable to attend due to unknown reasons.
Calvin Fritsch
Calvin, a star lacrosse player with the Bulldogs, will be attending Aurora University in Illinois to play the sport and study to be an actuary. His parents, Sarah and Nate attended the signing to show their support.
Kaylin Peterson
Kaylin was a celebrated player on the girls soccer team. She plans on attending Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD to study business and marketing. She was joined Wednesday by her parents, Lisa and Tom.
Zach Stanz
Zach is following his brother Alex to Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD to play golf and study biology. His parents, Chris and David attended the signing on Wednesday.
Megan Gamble
Megan, a “beast” according to her coach Dan Baird, will be attending Concordia University in St. Paul to study nursing and continue playing basketball. Her mom, Michelle and her younger sister, Abbey, were at her signing. Megan’s dad, Jason, was unable to attend.
Julia Bengtson
Julia, a mega-star on the Lady Bulldogs basketball team, will continue her athletics and education at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. She will be studying elementary education. Her parents, Hokan and Dawn showed their support by attending her signing.
Alaynna Suchy
Alaynna, an acclaimed girls soccer player, was unable to attend the signing, but she plans to attend Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
Emma Eickhoff
Emma, an important cog in the ever-successful girls softball program was unable to attend Wednesday’s signing, but she plans to attend St. Cloud State University next fall.
