Eighth-seeded Monticello led 11-5 at halftime en route to a Section 8A win over ninth-seeded Becker (6-8) Tuesday in Monticello.
Brookelyn Beutz had three goals for Becker, but the effort wasn’t enough as the Magic bounced the Bulldogs from the playoffs with an 18-11 win.
Allie Zimmer and Daisy Kent each had two goals while Jessie Charbonneau, Rachel Eisenreich and Abby Becker each had one for the Bulldogs.
Monticello moved on to play the #1-seeded Maple Grove Crimson Thursday night in Maple Grove and lost 19-10.
