Junior QB/defensive back, Sawyer Brown, was named Player of the Week for his outstanding game Thursday night.

Becker defeated Holy Angels 35 to 15 in the first round of the state tournament.  Sawyer scored two TDs and had an interception.

When describing Sawyer’s first touchdown run Coach Lundeen said, “It was one of the most amazing, spectacular runs I have witnessed. I think most of their players had a chance to tackle him but he made all of them miss.  It was a turning point in the game.”
