Lavoi, Mattson Net 139 In 18 Hole League

The weather has been “iffy” ately, but that doesn’t deter the fun the members of the Pebble Creek Men’s Club are having as they continue their weekly play in the 18-hole league, the nine-hole league and senior league.
 
18-Hole League
Kevin Lavoi and Greg Mattson netted a 139 to take first place in the 18-hole league, earning six MVP points in the process.
 
Jerry Vetch and Dan Brannan had the second lowest net score of 142, which garnered them four MVP points.
 
For the year-to-date MVP points scoring, two players are tied for first with eight points and that list includes Pat Utz and Brannan. Tied for second with six points are Allen Novotny, Steve Engelby, Bill Timmer, Kevin Lavoi and Grag Mattson. 
 
Total winnings for the first four weeks equals $653.70 paid to 16 different golfers.
 
9-Hole League
Thirteen teams comprise the league that plays on the Local 9 part of Pebble Creek and Team #4 has surged ahead.
 
Team #4, consisting of Tom Keller, Erik Olsen, Mark Bertram and Greg Konerza, took sole possession of first place after week four and have a combined team score of 249.
 
Second place is held by Team #8 (Brad Roesler, Steve Perry, John Hardekopf and Jeff Benda) with a 254.
 
Team #6 (Wayne Yarke, Barry Ashmore, Steve Engelby and Bill Timmer) has jumped to third place with a score of 256.
 
Team #1 (Fluck, Ryan Seavert, Scott Kerzman and Mike Trauer) is now fourth with a team total of 257. Team #12, consisting of Christopher Reed, Andy Thelen, Chad Rinkenberger and Jarrod Rober Morgan is fifth at 265.
 
Right behing them in sixth place is Team #10 (Utz, Greg Mattson, Kantorowicz and Matthews) is sixth with a 266 score. And right behind them is Team #2 (Dan Brannan, Tom Kahlert, Scott Pauly and Mark Staller) in seventh with  a 267.
 
Team #7 (Pete Hollis, Brandon Duane Dorma, Mitch Friesz and Jerry Vetsch)remains in eighth at 277, Team #11 (Brad Johnson, Novotny, Jason Thom and Bob Wilcox) is ninth at 281 and Team #9 (Milton Werner, Brock Tatge, Joe Gruenes and Spencer Bjerga) and Team #5 (Andy Voller, Chad Lane, Rick Torkkola and Mitch Sloan) are tied for 10th at 302.
 
Team #13 (Eron Lee Borsdon, Brian Musech, John Koshiol and Scott Ralph) is 12th at 333 and Team #3 (Joe Schwartkopf, Mike Domka, Justin Kelley and Paul Nelson) is 13th with an NC.
 
Senior League
No updates on the senior league was provided to the Citizen-Tribune by press time.
