GUARD AMANDA LINDSAY is heating up as the regular season winds down as she scored 10 points against Duluth East Thursday, 11 points in Becker’s win over Zimmerman tuesday and 18 points in Becker’s win over Mora last Friday.

Lady Cagers Win Two Of Three

The Becker Lady Bulldogs basketball team went 2-1 this week to improve to 13-9 on the season.
 
Duluth East 54, Becker 39
 
Amanda Lindsay scored 10 points and was the only player in double figures for Becker, which fell to Duluth East in a nonconference game at home Thursday night.
 
Hannah Johnson led the Greyhounds with 18 points.
 
Becker Scoring: Lindsay 10, Rachel Vogl 6, Alexa Hanowski 4, Abbigail Morrell 6, Whitney Raygor 3, Alex Johnson 2, Carlee Kobow 7 and Kalley Anderson 1.
 
Duluth East Scoring: Johnson 18, Danielle Cieluch 13, Rachel Weyenberg 8, Liz Libbon 6, Jada Olson 4, Miia Marple 2, Ashley Williams 2 and Veronica Rudolph 1.

Junior point guard Abbigail Morrell had 16 points to lead Becker over Zimmerman Tuesday night at home.
 
Freshman forward Naomi Hagstrom had 12 points to lead Zimmerman.
 
Becker had a 45-21 lead at halftime and cruised to the easy win in the second half.
 
Becker Scoring: Morrell 16, Lindsay 11, Kobow 10, Hanowski 9, Johnson 8, Anderson 7, Raygor 6, Vogl 4,  Renee Tripp 2 and  Haley Benda 2.
 
Becker 65, Mora 38
 
Last Friday, Becker traveled to Mora (7-13) to take on the Mustangs in a Granite Ridge Conference game.
 
The Bulldogs won by 27 and were led by Lindsay with 18 points. 
 
Becker Scoring: Lindsay 18, Kobow 13, Vogl 12, Morrell 6, Johnson 6, Maddie Kerzman 5 Hanowski 4 and Tripp 1.
 
Mora Scoring: Brooke Oslin 16, Kelly Becker 6, Anna Mork 5, Emma Venhuizen 4,  Katelynn Murner 4 and Taylor Nowling 3.
 
Next up for Becker (13-9, 6-5) was a game Friday at Cathedral (full report on game in next week’s Citizen) and then their final regular season game of the year Thursday at Little Falls.
