The Becker Bulldog girls’ soccer team maintains a winning record of 5-4-1 after a long week of games. 

The team is playing extremely well this year under new head coach Arnold Changamire. The last time Becker Girls Soccer won five games in a season was 2019.

Vs. Chisago Lakes

Becker fell short against Chisago Lakes 3-0 on a very physical game Sept. 9.  

Vs. Little Falls

The next day, Sept. 10, the Bulldogs grounded the Flyers with a dominance performance on the field with a 3-1 victory. 

Stella Bloch scored first for the Bulldogs with Andie Changamire securing the win with two goals.  Adele Changamire showed great support with two assists on the night. Goalkeeper Qolbe Olson showed great perseverance with 10 saves. 

Vs. St. Francis

On Sept. 12, the Lady Bulldogs were out played vs St. Francis and ended with a 7-1 loss. 

Andie Changamire saved the Bulldogs from a shut out by scoring the lone goal. 

Vs. Coon Rapids

The game against Coon Rapids Sept. 14 looked pretty dismal for the Bulldogs trailing 0-2 in the first half of the contest. The Bulldogs, however,  showed great resilience starting off by Andie Changamire finding the back of the net early in the second half.  The Bulldogs did not let up on the attack and scored three more times winning the game 4-3.

Andie Changamire scored three goals and Senior Lilly Warren recording her first goal on season. Providing assists for the day were Charlie Ebert, Andi Changamire, and Abby Atwood. The Bulldogs tallied 12 shots on goal and goaltender Qolbe Olson recorded six saves. 

Vs. North Branch

Becker had another exciting match up against the North Branch Vikings this past Monday.  The contest went down to the last minute, but ended in a 2-2 draw.  Scoring on the night was Abby Atwood, assisted by Stella Bloch and a goal by Alissa Kinney, assisted by Abby Atwood.
