THE BECKER BOYS LACROSSE TEAM has rattled off nine straight wins to improve their record to 10-1 with two regular season matches left.

Lacrosse Team On A Roll, Wins Their Last Nine Games In A Row

The Becker Bulldog boys lacrosse team improved to 10-1 with recent wins over Grand Rapids, Rocori, Winona, Chisago Lakes  and St Paul.  
 
The Bulldogs are the Southern Conference champions and will play the winner of Grand Rapids and Rocori June 3, with the winner of that game playing in the championship June 4.  
 
Bulldogs 16, Wildcats 9
The Bulldogs got five goals from Milan Kent in the seven-goal win over Chisago Lakes Monday night. 
 
Zack Olson-Burkman tallied four goals, Colton Reiter 2, Cale MacMillen 2, Isaiah Rathbun 1, Mitchell Bentley 1 and Lyndon Carlson 1.
 
Jakob Edling had nine saves on 17 shots.
 
Becker 12, Winona 5
The Bulldogs traveled to Paul Giel Field in Winona Sunday and came away with an impressive, seven-goal win.
 
Becker was led by Olson-Burkman, who notched five goals in the win. Kent netted three, Rathbun had one,  MacMillen one, Blake Angell one and Brett Reichle one.
 
Goalie Edling had eight saves on 13 shots.
 
Becker 15, Rocori 7
Becker hosted the Spartans May 11 and came away with a convincing, six-goal win.
 
Edling batted down, scooped up and blocked eight of the 15 shots he saw come his way.
 
Olson-Burkman led the team again with four goals. Kent netted three, Angell two, Lyndon Carlson two, Matt Johnson two, MacMillen one and Reiter one.
 
Becker 14, Thunderhawks 7
Becker hit the road to play Grand Rapids May 6 at Sugarbrooke Golf Course and came away with their fifth win in a row.
 
Olson-Burkman stayed hot, scoring five times while  MacMillen had three. Kent had two, Reiter had two and Angell and Carlson had one apiece.
 
Edling saw 17 shots on goal and saved 10.
 
Grand Rapids got scoring from Lane Anderson (2), Caleb How (2), Noah How (1), Patrick Mulvahill (1) and Sam How (1).
 
Becker 10, St. Paul 9
St. Paul invaded Becker May 4 and headed on the long road home, contemplating their one-goal loss to the Bulldogs.
 
No other information was made available on this match by press time.
 
Becker currently has three of the top five goal scorers in the league with Kent (35),  Olson-Burkman (32) and Reiter (21).
 
It was announced earlier this month the boys lacrosse team will finally be an officially-endorsed MSHSL team sport next season after being a club sport for the last six years.
