At the Kick Senior Showcase competition in Rochester last weekend, Becker’s Just for Kix team took home the national championship in Class AA.

Second place went to Marshall and third went to Bemidji.

“These ladies left it all on the floor today, making history by not only being the first Becker team to achieve a double platinum score but also by ending prelims in third place out of 18 teams, and finally by advancing by 30+ points to end in first place,” 

“Proud is an understatement…this group is something special! They are hardworking, focused, driven, resilient and compassionate toward one another and their competitors. This group comes from a wide range of experience…some are on high school dance team (seven out of 39, to be exact) some dance only 1-3 hours per week, some began dancing when they were two years old and some began dancing just two years ago! Yet they’ve melded into this beautiful team who works together to achieve their goals. They’ve had their eyes on this prize for several years and have put in the work to earn it!” 

“I am privileged to work with these dancers each week. Thank you to all who have supported these kids in getting here today!  We are so beyond grateful to get our turn.”

Just For Kix Director Jess Karsch-Strassburg was assisted by coaches Lindsey Baloun, Bryn Gordon, Ava Holm, Angela Joki, Autumn Martin, Morgan Radunz and Hallie Sieben.
