The Big Lake boys golf team competed three times last week. The highlight was Aidan Johnson shooting a 79 and finished in 7th place last Thursday in Chisago Lakes. 

The first of the three meets was last Wednesday in Cambridge. Johnson was the low scorer here as well, finishing with an 81 good for 11th. Following him were Trevor Maruska, Trevor Stukenholtz, and Max Siegrist who all shot 87’s and tied for 24th. Rounding out the scores were Josiah Sanford-91 (39th) and Trenton Josewski-114 (54th). The team finished 7th overall.

Last Thursday at Chisago, Maruska and Siegrist again matched each other’s score with 88’s and a tie for 29th. Sanford shot a 99 which earned him 45th. 

On Monday at Northfork Golf Course in Ramsey, Johnson and Stukenholtz were the leaders with 83’s and tying for 24th. Next was Maruska who finished +13 through 17 holes, Sanford-87 (32nd), and Siegrist-94 (45th).
