Pebble Creek Men’s Club held their annual club championship July 20 -21.
Ryan Isaacson grabbed the lead after day one with a 73 and going into the final nine, he was in a three-way tie with Greg Mattson and Dave Landreville with a three-over 147. Jackson Fluck carded a second round 70 to qualify as the fourth participant in the final nine to determine the overall club champion.
Isaacson grabbed the lead opening the final nine with par on the opening hole while Landreville and Fluck bogeyed and Mattson had tree trouble and made a triple bogey. A birdie on two and a par on three while Isaacson bogeyed gave Landreville the lead after three holes.
Landreville doubled the par three fourth, allowing Isaacson to grab a one-stroke lead with a par. Isaacson would not give the lead back the rest of the final nine and went on to win his first club championship with a 45 hole total of five over par. Landreville finished second at six over and Mattson third at nine over.
In the net division, Landreville, Isaacson and Mattson finished one-two-three in the championship flight. In the first flight, Lonnie Fluck won a tie breaker over John Dinsmore, who also shot minus two to take first place. Mark Dunderi finished even to take third.
In the second flight, Josh May followed up his opening day 65 with a two- under 70 to win going away. Bill Timmer shot a 68 on Sunday to finish six under in second and Mike McCann won the tie breaker over Eric Olsen at one over for third place.
In the third flight, Andy Voller (-6) shot a five under 67 on Sunday to catch and pass Wayne Yarke (-3) for first place. Paul Raetz finished third at one over.
