The Big Lake boys basketball team hosted the Delano Tigers last Friday, Jan. 2 and lost by nine, 102-93.

The loss pushed the Hornets to a 4-3 record on the year and a record of 2-1 in the conference.

Leading scorers for the Hornets were: Judd Layton with 21 points, Leroy Hamrin with 25 points and Lane Pettis with 18 points.

Vs. Saints

The Hornets took on the St. Francis Saints Tuesday and came away with a 112-84 win.

Leading scorers for the Hornets were: Judd Layton with 20 points, Leroy Hamrin with 17 points and  Trevor Stuckenholtz with 25 points.
