The Big Lake girls’ tennis team had a busy week with four matches and one cancelled due to the weather. Three of the four were Mississippi 8 Conference matchups against Monticello, Becker, and Chisago Lakes. The lone nonconference opponent was Annandale on Monday. 

Monticello was the opponent last Monday, and the Magic won the match 7-0. Last Thursday the team hosted Becker. The visitors swept the Hornets 7-0. On Saturday Big Lake was supposed to host a triangular against Sartell-St. Stephen and Hutchinson, but the event was cancelled due to weather. This past Monday the team traveled to Annandale where the Cardinals also won 7-0. Tuesday the Hornets hosted Chisago Lakes, and the Wildcats won 6-1. 

Coming up this Thursday is the final regular season match of the season at Cambridge. Then, next Tuesday, the team will begin section playoffs.
