The Big Lake girls basketball team finished the last week of their regular season going 1-1, with the two games decided by a total of three points. 

Last Thursday the team finished their conference schedule with a 46-45 victory over Chisago Lakes. The Hornets led by six at halftime and held on for a thrilling win. Rylie Sternquist led the way with 25 points and Alexis Moen added 10 of her own. 

Then the team wrapped up their regular season with a 62-60 non-conference loss against Sauk Rapids-Rice last Friday.

The Hornets finished the regular season at 12-14, which earned them a seven seed in the Section 5AAA playoffs. They will travel to Monticello this Thursday for the quarterfinal matchup at 7 p.m.
