Becker boys cross country are returning a solid crew after only two runners graduated this past year. 

The captains for the up and coming season include Alex Schermer, Thomas Cota, Parker Spindler, and Evan Hubbard. 

Many other strong team members are returning and are ready to hit the ground running. 

The same coaches from last season will continue to coach the boys in the coming season. Those coaches consist of Dustin Weege as the head coach and Patrick Drury as the assistant coach. A big goal that the team hopes to accomplish is contending for top spots within the Mississippi 8 Conference and Section 5AA. They hope to have a state placing team, along with multiple all-state runners. 

Currently in the MSHSCA pre-season poll, Becker boys cross country is ranked sixth. One member on the team, Aiden Frommelt, plans on coming back as a manager after surviving a significant fire/burn accident last april. The team is excited to have him back and can’t wait for the season to start.
