In their first regular season matches of the season, the Becker Bulldog girls tennis team defeated New London-Spicer by a 5- 2 score and Melsrose by a score of 7-0.

Becker vs. NLS

At #1 singles, Becker’s Courtney Nuest knocked off NLS’s Ava Hanson, 2-6, 6-3, 10-8. At #2 singles, Anna Ritchie lost to Izzy Schmiesing of NLS by 6-0, 6-3 scores.

At #3 singles, Maddie Moe defeated Kamryn Quenemoen of NLS by a 6-0, 6-1 score. At #4 singles, NLS’s Shannon Monson bounced Becker’s Arin Hendrickson by a 6-2, 3-6, 10-3 score.

At #1 doubles, Becker’s dynamic duo of Julia Bengtson and Alayna Lindquist trounced NLS’s Ruby Parsons  and Morgan Rolighed,  6-0, 6-1.

At #2 doubles, Becker’s Jazlyn Toedter and  Jackie Yoerg dispatched NLS’s Taylor Barber and Ellie Hanson by a  6-4, 6-2 score.

At #3 doubles, Becker’s Halle Murphy and Ayla Brown beat Megan Warner and Ashley Templer of New London.

Becker vs. Melrose

Singles

No. 1 - Nuest, defeated  Paige Danzl of Melrose, 6-1, 6-0; No. 2 - Ritchie beat Jessica Danzl of Melrose, 6-0, 6-0; No. 3 - Becker’s Moe, defeated Melrose’s Emily Rieland, 6-0, 6-0; No. 4 - Hendrickson knocked off Melrose’s Alexis Baumann, 7-5, 6-0.

Doubles

No. 1 - Bengtson and Lindquist, beat Melrose’s Chelsey Wieling and Erika Hoppe, 6-0, 6-1; No. 2 - Toedter and Yoerg, defeated Kirsten Dragseth and Jasmine Golla of Melrose, 6-2, 6-2; No. 3 - Murphy  and Brown beat Madison Baysinger and Jamie Klasen of Melrose, 6-1, 6-0.
