Eagles Top Highland Park

The Big Lake-Becker Eagles hockey team won against Highland Park 6-4 Tuesday.
 
Goaltender Justin Morrow had 41 saves out of 45 shots taken by Highland Park.
 
The Eagles scored three goals in the first; Highland Park went scoreless. Two more goals by the Eagles came in the second. Three of five goals were scored by Eagles rookies, including sophomore Aubrey Hartfiel, freshman Corbin Kollar and Max Nelson, whose goal was the first ever in a hockey game.
 
Weston Schug and Nick Cencer also scored goals for the Eagles, both in the first.
 
An empty net delayed penalty goal for the Eagles added one more point for the Eagles before the conclusion of the game, giving the Eagles their first victory of the season. 
 
The Eagles, now 1-2 , played St. Cloud Tech at the Mac Area Friday.
 
The Eagles' next home matchup is Tuesday, Dec. 15, when the team hosts Little Falls at 7:15 p.m.
