Wright County is pleased to announce a new reciprocity agreement with McLeod County that allows Wright County residents to drop off household hazardous waste at the McLeod Environmental Services location in Hutchinson. 

Paints, stains, aerosols, pesticides, bleach, pool chemicals, automotive fluids, drain cleaners, adhesives, fuels and solvents are all included in this partnership. 

McLeod’s facility is at 1065 5th Ave. SE, in Hutchinson. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  

Check the McLeod County website for updated hours as they have extended to some Saturday morning hours. This agreement is in place while the Wright County Compost & Recycling Facility is undergoing its current expansion..
