The Eagles hockey team lost to Windom in overtime 3-2 at the Richfield arena Dec. 29.
The Eagles were the first to put points on the board when Alec Doran scored at 1:46 in the first period. His goal was assisted by Nick Cencer and Corbin Collar. At 9:21 in the first, Ryan Murnane also scored for the Eagles, assisted by Alec Doran.
Windom scored shortly before the end of the first period.
After no score in the second period, Windom would tie in the third period, leading to overtime. Once in overtime, Windom would score, and won over the Eagles 3-2.
In total, the Eagles would get 25 shot attempts against Windom. Eagles goalkeeper Justin Morrow saved 41 of 44 shots against him.
The Eagles game against Austin, also in Richfield, was postponed from its Dec 28 date; no rescheduled date has been announced. The next game on the schedule for the Eagles is Jan. 7, when they travel to Mora.
