Tuesday night was a big conference win for the Becker Bulldog volleyball team, as they took a 3-0 win over M8 foe St. Francis.

Game scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 25-17, as the Bulldogs grew stronger as the night progressed.

“We had a great night,” Coach Katie Uittenbogaard said. “I am very proud of how we played tonight.”

Uittebogaard had praise for her libero, as well as her hitters.

“Our sophomore libero, Kenna Hennessey, was on fire tonight with her unmatched ball control,” Uittenbogaard said.   “We had big hits from Keira Berger and Courtney Gass.”

Overall, the team showed great balance and determination to pick up the win, according to their coach.

“We definitely came out each set with confidence and the mentality of the Dogs are here!” said the coach.

The Bulldogs will host Watertown-Mayer in a Monday night matchup.
