TWO DANCE GROUPS (young campers and old campers) practiced their moves for the upcoming Freedom Days parade and dance performance Saturday in Downtown Becker.

Dazzlers Young And Old To Perform Saturday

The Becker Dazzlers dance team is approximately 30 members strong going into the 2015-2016 school year and has gathered for the past two weeks to learn a Becker Freedom Days performance routine to be performed just outside of Nix Bar & Grill at the stage in Downtown Becker following the parade.

This busy group also hosted the 6th Annual Becker Dazzlers Freedom Days Dance Camp this past week in which approximately 30 campers — ages 3-12 — learned a dance routine, played games and did arts and crafts in preparation to ride on the Becker Dazzlers Freedom Days float (supplied by TJ Potter Trucking) and to perform.

Additionally, Dazzler team members will be partnering with  Dean-o-Mite DJ to teach kids (and those who still want to be a kid)  a few dance moves at the stage following the performances of the campers and dancers this Saturday.

The busy schedule continues into the afternoon with the 6th Annual Dazzlers Dunk Tank located near the games and inflatables. And, at the close of the celebration, the Becker Dazzlers are inviting Becker Dance Team Alumni to join the group in the Becker Furniture World parking lot at 9:40 p.m. to enjoy the fireworks.

This Becker athletic team is off to an amazing start this summer and plans to practice twice each week and attend the Just For Kix Dance Camp in July before beginning their regular season in October.
