Come And Play One Of The Fastest Growing Sports In America.

Becker Girls Lacrosse prides itself upon fostering and supporting the complete student-athlete on and off the field. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching the game and preparing youth and high school girls to achieve their lacrosse and academic goals.

We are building a strong program by offering lacrosse to girls from 5-8th grade.  We hope to provide our players with the tools and resources to help increase post-high school lacrosse and academic opportunities. UMD player Sam Hulrgren, a Becker 2011 graduate, states, “I really love the game and to have the chance to play in college has been a dream. By playing in Becker, I developed the love and skills for the game needed to advance. It has been a lot of hard work, but worth it!”

Becker Girls Lacrosse Association has two leagues for girls in 5th through 8th grade open to both Becker and Big Lake youth. The leagues will run from April until June 2015 with games held on evenings or weekends. Equipment required are goggles, a lacrosse stick and cleats. Scholarships and assistance with equipment may be provided. Volunteer coaches are also needed.

Registration is through Becker Community Education and the deadline for registration is March 1st.  Need more information? There is a player information meeting at 3:15 pm on February 23 at the Becker Middle School cafeteria.  A parent meeting will be held with more details after registration. The cost of the league is $80.00. Any questions can be directed to beckergirlslax@hotmail.com. You can also check out the Becker Girls Lacrosse Facebook page.
