SENIOR FORWARD JACK CONZEMIUS has been a force under the basket on both sides of the ball as he scored 10 points against Mora Tuesday and two against Milaca last Friday night.
SENIOR GUARD CODY GRUENHAGEN scored two points against Milaca and six against Mora to help the Bulldogs improve to a 3-0 record on the young season.

Bulldogs Stay Unbeaten, Knock Off Milaca And Mora

The Becker Bulldog boys basketball team is off to a great start to the season, improving to 3-0 with wins over Milaca and Mora. Becker 73, Milaca 52. Last Friday, Becker traveled to Milaca to take on the Wolves in a Granite Ridge Conference matchup.
 
Matt Yoerg scored 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting including making all five three-pointers he took. Yoerg also finished with three rebounds.
 
Dillon Radunz scored 13 and Andrew Davalos scored 11 as the Bulldogs romped by 21.
 
Matthew Fransen topped the Wolves (0-2) with 11 points.
 
Also scoring for Becker were Hunter McCalla (8), Jake Fobbe (7), Tyler Lindquist (2), Cody Gruenhagen (2), Ryan Good (2) and Jack Conzemius (2).

The Bulldogs continued to dominate the basketball floor as they trounced the Mustangs Tuesday night at home by 27.
 
Fobbe was lights out behind the three-point line, scoring 21 of his game-high 27 points from beyond the arc. He also finished with five assists, four rebounds and three steals.
 
Yoerg scored more than 20 points in his third straight game, netting 21 points while pulling down two rebounds and assisting on five shots. Conzemius also scored in double figures, notching 10 points while reeling in three rebounds.
 
Mora was led by Cal Wright, who tallied 16 points in the loss. Keaton Torell also added 11.
 
Bulldog scoring included five from McCalla, three from Caleb Foster, three from Lindquist, two from Davalos, six from Gruenhagen and six from Radunz.

The Bulldogs took on Big Lake Friday night at home (full story on the game’s results will appear in next week’s Citizen). The Bulldogs then host Zimmerman Saturday, head to Sartell Tuesday before returning home Thursday against Monticello.
