BECKER JUNIOR CARLEE KOBOW scored 15 points Tuesday night against Annandale, but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs fell to their third straight loss on the season, 62-47 to the Cardinals. Kobow came back with eight points against Foley to aid in Becker’s first win of the year Thursday.

Bulldogs Get First Win At Foley

The Becker Bulldog girls basketball team won their first game of the season Thursday in Foley following three season-starting losses.

Becker 68, Foley 56
 
Becker’s Mauren Thiesen put on quite a show against the Falcons Thursday, exploding for 23 points in Becker’s 12-point win at Foley.
The win improved the Bulldogs record to 1-3.
 
The Falcons led at halftime, 29-28 until Thiesen started pouring in bucket-after-bucket to carry her team to their first win of the 2013-14 season.
Tara Dusharm tallied 17 points for Foley (1-2).

Becker junior center Carlee Kobow led the Bulldogs with 15 points, but Annandale used the one-two punch of their star guard and center to easily beat the Bulldogs by 15.
 
Senior guard Emmy Whitesell and junior center Hannah Spaulding led the way for Annandale in the nonconference win.
 
Whitesell finished with 15 points and Spaulding had 14 points for the undefeated Cardinals (3-0).
