In Becker’s only game this week, the Bulldog boys basketball team lost convincingly to the Delano Tigers last Friday night on the road, 75-42.
Delano (9-1) had four players reach double figures, including 20 from sophomore guard Calvin Wishart and 15 from senior forward Matt Kreklow.
The Bulldogs were led by Hunter McCalla and Jack Conzemius, who each scored 12 points for Becker (5-3), who have now lost three in a row after starting the season 5-0.
Becker’s scheduled Tuesday game against Dassel-Cokato was postponed.
The Bulldogs fell behind to the Tigers 42-19 in the first half and just had too much ground to make up to bring the game close. Delano had nine players score at least two points while Becker had seven.
Other scorers for Becker were Jake Fobbe (4), Andrew Davalos (4), Dillon Radunz (4), Cody Gruenhagen (4) and Matt Yoerg (2).
Delano got scoring from Wishart (20), Kreklow (15), Derek Techam (13), Logan Pulis (10), Mitchell Kurtz (8), Cole Gilmer (3), Dylan Gilmer (2), Nate Norman (2) and Keegan O’Neill (2).
