Bulldogs close out season with a tie

The Becker girls soccer team went 0-1-1 this past week and celebrated their seniors on senior night last Friday.

Magic 7, Bulldogs 1

Sept. 28, the Bulldogs suffered a measurable loss to Monticello by six goals.

The only highlight for Becker was junior Riley Norberg’s goal, assisted from senior Isabelle Carlson. Amanda Miner, Becker’s goalie had 11 saves in the onslaught. 

Bulldogs 3, Tigers 3

Last Friday, the Bulldogs honored their seniors with senior night and hosted the Tigers of Princeton. The Bulldogs started the festivities with a donut eating contest and then heartfelt speeches by the seniors.

The match was even as well as the score of 3-3. It was Becker’s first non-loss match of the year as they finshed the season 0-10-1.

The first goal came from senior Megan Gamble, assisted by senior Faith Madsen.

The second goal was scored by senior Alaynna Suchy with an assist from Gamble. 

The third goal came from Gamble again as she was assisted by Madsen. 

Sophomore Liz Mackedanz had seven saves in goal.
