The Becker swimming and diving team downed their rivals from Big Lake last week, winning the meet 99 to 84.
“We placed first in nine of the 12 events,” Coach Tina Tamm said.
The 200 Medley Relay team of Laila Cook, Izza Mork, Josie Reckelberg and Grace Mork took first place, while Izza also won the 200 and 500 Freestyle events. Grace Mork was phenomenal as well, claiming the wins in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Backstroke.
Reckelberg took the 100 Butterfly event title and was part of the 200 Freestyle relay winning team along with Cook and both Morks.
Cook added a win in the 100 Breaststroke, while the 400 Freestyle relay team also won the top place: Kandell Hagen, Mia Suelter, Elin Cook and Myka Maksimenko.
Milaca
At the Milaca invite, Becker took third place, just missing second by a mere six points.
“This was another great day of races as we had 22 personal best times at this meet,” Tamm said.
Medals were given to the top three finishers, including first place winners: 200 free and 500 free - Grace Mork, 200 IM and 100 breaststroke - Izza Mork.
Finishing second for Becker included: 200 Med Relay - Grace Mork, Izza Mork, Josie Reckelberg, and Laila Cook; Karli Kirk- Diving, and Reckelberg in the fly.
Cook took a third plae for the Bulldogs in the backstroke, while the 200 free relay was also third: Izza Mork, Laila Cook, Josie Reckelberg, and Grace Mork
“We are having a great season,” Tamm said. “The girls continue to improve every meet and our Section qualifiers list keeps getting longer.”
Becker hosted Foley in a Tuesday evening affair and Thursday’s match was against Princeton.
