The Big Lake boys soccer team hosted North Branch last Thursday and lost a high-scoring match, 4-3.
The Vikings jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half behind goals by Tanner Bollman, Eric Flor, Harry Toussaint and Aaron Maroschek before Big Lake would rally with three of their own — two in the first half and one in the second. However, the surge fell short as the Hornets stayed winless.
