The Becker Bulldog boys soccer team improved to 3-3-2 with two wins and one loss this past week.
Cathedral 4, Becker 0
The Crusaders’ Brady Johnston had a hat trick of three goals to lead his team to the victory at Whitney Park Thursday.
Tanner Schmit had the other goal for Cathedral (8-1-1). Nathan Hahn had five saves to earn the shutout and his first varsity win.
Zachary Moeller had 11 saves for the Bulldogs.
Becker Tournament
Jeremy South scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Bulldogs to a 4-0 win over North Branch in the championship Saturday at home.
Becker also defeated Mesabi East 4-1 earlier in the day in the four-team tournament.
The Bulldogs travel to Watertown-Mayer Saturday to play in a five-team tournament Saturday, then have three games next week starting with a home match Monday against Sauk Rapids-Rice, then road games at Little Falls Tuesday and Delano Thursday.
